Version 3.3

July 2026

Sign in with your email — the Sign In screen now accepts your email address as well as your username. Either one works with your existing password. The keyboard automatically offers an email layout, and iCloud Keychain (or your password manager) can now AutoFill your sign-in.
Sync engine reliability — rewrote the cloud sync engine to eliminate background-thread crashes that could occur while uploading songs, setlists, and tags. Sync is now safe even if you switch accounts or sign out while a sync is in progress.
Tapping Sync twice in quick succession, or trying to log out while a sync is running, is now blocked at the UI so it can't put the app in a bad state.
Cancelling a sync now cleanly stops in-flight uploads instead of letting them finish in the background.
Faster lyric search — the app now extracts lyric text as soon as it appears on the page instead of waiting for ads, trackers, and slow scripts to finish loading. On ad-heavy lyric sites this can be 5 to 20 seconds faster.
Alphabetical song picker — when adding songs to a setlist or tag, songs within each letter section now appear in alphabetical order. Jumping to S on the A-Z rail finally lands on Sabor a Mi, San Francisco, Sharp Dressed Man, Smooth Operator (rather than the order you originally added them, which felt random for popular letters).
Fixed a crash that could occur on iPad when tapping a Home screen tile shortly after navigating back from a lyric.
Fixed back navigation from the Tags section: opening a song's lyrics from a tag's song list now returns you to that tag's song list when you go back, instead of skipping past it to the main menu. Affects devices on iOS earlier than iOS 26.
Added an extra safety net for a rare iPad split-view layout crash that could occur while the app was being snapshotted in the background.
Fixed a crash that could occur when reordering AirTurn pedals and other Bluetooth page-turner devices.
Several smaller stability fixes for low-memory iPads, including guards in the PDF viewer, the metronome, and the Setlist Songs list.

Fixed the iPad home icon sometimes disappearing, which required closing the app to fix.
App stays responsive during long gigs — fixed a memory issue that could slow things down after hours of use.

Sync engine improvements - Songs are now downloaded in pages of 50, reducing server load and improving reliability for large song libraries.
